What kind of mural and illustration projects do you take on?
I work on a wide range of bespoke illustration projects, from hand-painted murals and illustrated shopfronts to signage, maps, windows and one-off creative commissions. Every project is considered individually, so if you have an idea that doesn’t quite fit into one of these examples, please still get in touch, I love finding creative ways to bring ideas to life.
How does the design process work?
Every project begins with a conversation about your space, idea and what you would like the finished piece to achieve. I’ll consider the surroundings, existing colours and branding (where necessary), the people who will experience the space and the story you want it to tell.
From there, I’ll develop an initial creative direction and illustrations for you to review before any painting or production begins. Once the design is agreed, I’ll plan the practical side of bringing it to life!
How much does a mural or bespoke illustration project cost?
Because every project is different, murals and bespoke illustration work are quoted individually. Pricing will depend on factors such as the scale of the project, complexity of the artwork, design development, materials, location and time required on site.
Once I understand the project, I’ll provide a clear quote outlining the scope and costs involved, so you know exactly what to expect before we begin.
Do you travel for murals and on-site projects?
Yes. I’m happy to consider projects in different locations and any travel or accommodation requirements will be discussed and included clearly within your quote.
For projects further afield, I can also explore whether elements can be created off-site and installed or delivered, depending on the nature of the commission.
I have an idea, but I’m not sure exactly what I want — can you help?
Absolutely. You don’t need to come to me with a finished concept or fully formed design. Part of my role as an artist, designer and storyteller is to understand your space, the people who use it and the feeling you want to create, before developing a visual direction that brings those elements together.
Whether you have a clear starting point or simply know that you want to bring more character, creativity or storytelling into a space, we can develop the idea together. My illustration style will always be at the heart of the finished work, while the concept itself is thoughtfully shaped around your project and its story.
